Stihl’s new HLA 85 hedge trimmer has an inbuilt telescopic shaft with rotatable clamping sleeve. This is ideal for those tall hedges as you can cut from the safety of the ground, with a reach from 2.6m to 3.3m. The shaft length can be adjusted without tools too, so it’s ready to adjust whenever wherever.
Whether you are a left or right-handed, the operations are comfortable and simple to use. Start the electrical engine with one hand, and use the other to manoeuvre the double-sided cutter across branches above you.
An advantage of this double-sided cutting plate is the HLA 86 hedge trimmer’s ability to easily ground on both sides. This means thick and thin branches can be trimmed from almost any angles, whilst ensuring a clean cutting pattern.
Need to adjust the angle of the cutter bar quickly? No problem. The cordless long reach trimmer can be adjusted from -45° to 70°, and once finished – simply fold down to save space and transport.
